I really woke up to reality today, besides being so sore and tired from cleaning from 730 am to 6pm I didn't see it coming but I'm glad I reacted fast enough This Vacum sucks!

So the story goes like this I've worked since 730 am cleaning everything from the floors carpets wiping tables and bathrooms and my feet are sore and I'm just about pooped. I do the last request from my cleaning team, to vacuum the elevators.
The problem is that it's a plugin Vac so I stand in front of the door so it doesn't close right?
YOU THINK WRONG! it started to close in on me and it wasn't stopping I quickly get in the elevator
and I hear it say "going down" NO YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!
The vacuum has no way of disconnecting itself so I start to pound my fist into the open button hurting myself in the process but I was not ready to get hurt even worse by a flying vacuum anyways my worse fear almost came true stuck in an elevator...
I call the emergency button and start the freak out a bit then after about 3 minutes of pounding the open button it finally opens without moving floors and didn't need any help after all.. Luckily...
So what did I learn from all this?
1. Besides almost dying I realized that shit happens like this all the time apparently after talking with my temp foreign coworkers it has happened to them a few times...
This to me is not acceptable, I'm actually concerned for the safety of myself and my fellow coworkers.
Yes shit happens but does it need to?
2. There's a whole new group of people I've never been exposed to truly in my small hometown, I have the sense of being a Underclassman where no one interacts with me/us as if we were unworthy.
Maybe my standards are too high, this is just me talking about how I feel now as a full time worker.
Rich snobs don't care, a hotel worker is not an ideal position to be in but, people depend on this 50+ hours a week job to support themselves and other people that depend on them.
I've learned to respect other people now in a new way...
I've always felt out of place but now I'm really being put out of place and I stand where I am needed and life's pretty dandy after that...
However, Shopping at Dollarama is amazing!
We don't need to spend a huge amount of money to have a lil fun

I now can bank online finally!
Being in a place where things are half hour drive away without being able to drive can be a drag.
I now never have to set foot in a Bank ever again! and in a way it makes life a lot easier one less thing to deal with on my own time.
I can do more laundry or spend time making more songs!
Bella Vista! (2 man piece band that I'm the singer of)
I'm sure to make a few songs over the internet.
glad that we're able to do that nowadays possibilities are almost endless
Shall make a Remix Song for Mothers Day I have all the tracks laid out just need some riffing skills from Lando Kyll!

Lastly, Food is always good.
I got 81 percent avearage in school! Next step is the Teaching Program which I'm really looking forward to.
Besides food and work I'll probably transition on my own time to teaching myself and others how to teach.
and of course don't forget about Albertaisms!
Albertaism #3 You know you're in Alberta when... you become dissapointed with drivers. For once I saw a driver move over into a lane while signalling in a good amount of time. Not taking forever to make a decision causing no leave for an out (Smith System) look it up. Anyways once the driver made it the lane fast enough, less than a minute later, swerves back into the previous lane. Thus restoring my doubts in Alberta Drivers once again.
~In order to fly,
I got to soar,
find open doors
and close some behind
spread my wings, I'm getting ready to fly
this is not goodbye,
I just have to try so I can provide
and this time I get to decide
but you will always be by my side~
